Hollywood Book Festival Awards Honorable Mention to The Maximum Contribution

(Terra Alta, WV) The Hollywood Book Festival has awarded an honorable mention to The Maximum Contribution by Rick Robinson in the category of General Fiction.

Presented in conjunction with Barnes & Noble Booksellers, the Hollywood Book Festival honored books that that deserve greater recognition from the film, television, game and multimedia communities. Over 30,000 people attended the day festival to enjoy author readings, book vendors, publishing panels, celebrity signings, and live music.

Based in the capital of show business, the annual Hollywood Book Festival aims to (1) spotlight literature worthy of further consideration by the talent-hungry pipeline of the entertainment industry; and (2) facilitate getting those works into the proper hands for consideration. The judges determined recognition based upon the story telling ability of the author and the potential of the work to be translated into other forms of media.

At a ceremony in Los Angeles on July 12, Robinson received the recognition. "I am delighted that the Hollywood Book Festival has recognized The Maximum Contribution with this honor," said Robinson. "I love LA!" The following day, actress Robin Arcuri joined Robinson at his table to sign copies of his political thriller.

Robinson has thirty years experience in politics and law, including a stint on Capitol Hill as Legislative Director/Chief Counsel to then-Congressman Jim Bunning (R-KY). He ran for the United States Congress in 1998 and currently practices law in Kentucky.
